Organic brake pads are made of a mixture of synthetic fibers and resin. They can be found on two-thirds of new vehicles sold within the United States

- Low stress on the brake rotors
- Less reliable in extreme weather or with aggressive driving
Ceramic Brake Pads
Ceramic brake pads use a ceramic material very similar to the type of ceramics used to make pottery. Ceramic brake pads are embedded with fine copper fibers that conduct heat and reduce friction. Developed in the 1980s, ceramic brake pads are increasingly found on new vehicles.
- Ceramic brake pads are extremely quiet

- Not recommended for very cold climates or racing
Metallic Brake Pads

- Don't compress as much as organic brakes

Thank you so much to Roger. I have a 16 year old son who thinks he knows it all. I bought him an air filter as requested on 6/21. turned out it wasn't the one he wanted. Of course the kid got mad but my husband said to take to it Roger. If Church's made mistake they would fix it. He would help us as my husband was out of town working. Church's did not make the mistake, the kid did. Well it's true!! Roger helped the kid change the filter we bought and replace the filter he wanted all in about 15 minutes.
